Sales and Designing

Pros

The best part of working for California Closets is having an independent job, ever changing work environment— meeting new clients daily in their homes, designing amazing solutions for customers, and seeing your designs come to life.

Cons

The toughest part of the job is not being paid unless a design sells, meaning you will do lots of work for some clients and never see a dime. The nature of this part of the job makes it so challenging. Seems like California Closets could do better for designers. The products are great, but designers deserve to be better compensated for their time and efforts.

Pros

Nice flat-screen monitors for showroom

Cons

The owner is a micro-manger who is passive-aggressive and demanding. He has no insight into providing a collaborative workplace. The sales staff is rude and bossy.
