Great Company until layoffs due to "merger of equals"

Pros

Great company until merger. Fair salaries, great hours, excellent working conditions.

Cons

After merger, existing CCU employees, which have far more experience than merging credit union (North Island), were systematically laid off. Experience be damned. It's not what you know but who you know. The surviving manager of the department admitted that he had no previous management experience. That would be the first red light that he may not be the guy for the job.

Good Benefits, good coworkers for the most part.

Cons

No loyalty, abusive management, HR ignores the many many complaints made on a specific department head who is AWFUL.
