      Pros

      There are some truly great leaders in upper management in particular Sales and Service, as well as G&A. I feel like I'm truly contributing to the company's success and don't feel like a cog in the corporate machine. Calix has a collaborative startup feeling but is also mature and organized. I really like the strategic direction of where the company is going in terms of profitability and growth.

      Cons

      Departments are running a little too lean; need more support staff. The CEO can be awkward; at times he can be funny, but other times rude and condescending.

      Great Environment

      Pros

      During my interviews I was able to get a feel of exactly what they expected of me for the job I was applying for. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly making me feel like I was already at home. I am so glad to be apart of a dynamic company that is working to change the telecommunications industry.

      Cons

      Smaller office, which could be nice to some.

      Excellent company to work for.

      Pros

      A great company all around. Treat employees very well. Considerate of their personal and family needs. Working very hard and delivering on an innovative approach within a somewhat staid, slow moving industry. Company is growing faster than market growth. Nice and smart people to work with. Stable company. New sales head excels at transformation and is impacting things positively and quickly. Working from home is not an issue.

      Cons

      The industry Calix is in is somewhat slow growing.
