Caltrans is really big on equal opportunity and take cases very seriously if people feel like they are being targeted. They strive on making their employees feel connected. This review is coming from a HQ level.

Cons

This may be similar to other state departments, but management always seems to be shifting. Ive been in a position for nearly 10 years while working for about 15 different supervisors.

Slow and boring, it was an easy job that gives you a foot into the door at Caltrans

Cons

Because of how slow it was, i would often get bored. Also the pay was peanuts.
