Pros
- Rarely need to work late - Enormous project budgets - no need to stress about wasting time or billing exact hours (switched to consulting where you have to log every minute of your day) which also means you have a lot of room to learn - Can accrue large amounts of PTO
Cons
- It was boring - no sense of urgency or pressure to challenge yourself - No control over what kind of work you do, also very little variety. Felt pigeonholed
