Small company, everyone knew each other. Felt like a family when I worked there.

ESOP, relationship to Emerson, Fisher product line

Cons

Claim open door, but it's not true. People leave the company and then are rehired and get raises! When the rest of us suffer through paycuts and are beatup by leadership. Those who get it done and care, get no recognition other than what you are doing is not enough.

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time here at Caltrol. Often time when we bring an former employee back it is because they have a unique skill set that will help us succeed and grow. When unfortunately we do have to let people go please know that we always look for another position in the company where there skills would be a fit.

Pros

comfortable work environment, very nice people to work for in the middle management positions and below.

Cons

The culture is very corporate now that management at the top all changed. They could stand to treat their employees with more pay. Many layoffs recently and upper management spending is not transparent

We do realize that sometimes the decisions made are not communicated clearly and we are working on improving our process on being more transparent with every level of employee.
