Fast moving, super smart but struggling with sand-box politics.

Pros

The company culture is very family-values oriented and adjusts to how you feel and what is going on in your life. Another good reason to work there is it is packed with smart and friendly people. It is both progressive and conservative. It's progressive in its outlook on technology and education. And it is conservative in a corporate sort of way. It is fast-paced, but it explores design and development in iterations.

Cons

Even though they like to think they have teams made up of members of different departments, the silos are firm and protect their own political interests. In some cases there are inter-departmental rivalries that can cause a great deal of frustration. Gossip and emotional reactions can sometimes really be depressing.

Pros

The technical competency of some of management - namely the COO, CFO - is quite sufficient. There is a good base of people working that believe the company mission is worth pursuing.

Cons

Management is seemingly haphazard, reactive to issues as they present themselves. The company is adequate in its execution but won't grow until there is not a central visionary within the company that inspires people and can formulate and communicate an overreaching set of goals. The company is stagnating and the investors are getting impatient.
