I am reposting this since my previous review was taken down along with the other one that was critical of the company.
Building on the previous review, Cameron Ashley is the opposite of everything it claims to be. The company’s onboarding and training process is poorly structured, setting employees up for failure from the start.
NXT Trend is an outdated system that the company has only recently decided to move on from. Managers attempt to teach the ERP system but then become frustrated if you don’t immediately recall the various input commands—despite there being no instructions on how to operate the system. Given that Cameron Ashley is the sole user of this system, you would expect a standard operating procedure (SOP) for its use and troubleshooting, but none exists.
Furthermore, sales reps range from highly professional to borderline unprofessional, with varying abilities to communicate effectively and understand market conditions for their distribution centers. Many seem completely oblivious to market trends.
The SKU system is also incredibly frustrating. As a previous reviewer mentioned, you have to go through multiple people just to request a quote, get a sell price, or set up a SKU.
Additionally, management openly bad-mouths employees to others and fails to provide constructive feedback on performance.
Overall, I would not recommend working here due to the organization's lack of proper training and disregard for employee development.
During my time there, I felt that speaking up about any issues related to poor treatment from management would lead to retaliation.
