Pros

Some strong individual contributors Exposure to complex systems

Cons

Cliquish leadership; decisions driven by a small inner circle Lack of direction; priorities constantly shift with no clear strategy Poor top-down communication; teams left guessing on expectations and success criteria Blame culture; leadership deflects accountability downward when things go wrong Little to no career growth; unclear path, inconsistent feedback, minimal development Toxic, intimidating environment; low psychological safety, difficult to challenge or speak up Contractors favored over full-time staff; more influence, continuity, and opportunity
