Leadership fosters a toxic and fear-driven culture; micromanagement is rampant.
Selected people were treated like school children in the team. No flexibility in terms of your days in office etc and the leadership make up new rules on the go so that they can inconvenience some members of staff.
Policies are not followed consistently eg- Hybrid working policy. It applies selectively and some special/favourite employees get away with nearly everything while the others are made to suffer.
Ethical boundaries are often crossed or completely ignored to favour certain employees that are liked due to being yes-people.
The wrong people are promoted as managers and lack basic human skills let aside leadership skills.
High turnover due to burnout, lack of support, unfairness and mental health neglect.
The organisation has a 'Your Voice' survey intended to collect honest feedback; however, employees who respond candidly seem to face retaliation or poor treatment. Although the survey is supposed to be anonymous, HR leadership has, on occasion, discussed the results and asked individuals for their responses during a team meeting, undermining trust in the process.
Employees are encouraged to report misconduct to HR (Whistleblowing), but I question the effectiveness of this, as it is arguably the most unethical department and fails to uphold even the basic principles of fairness and integrity.
