      Not a place for anyone with enthusiasm and spirit

      Pros

      * End of the year bonus * Employee sale twice a year * 401K matching

      Cons

      * Walking morgue. A lot of the employees have been there more than 20 years and have no more life in them. * Too many chiefs. No room for advancement. Especially if you are not a Japanese male. * Red tape city. Can't get things done fast and efficiently. It is amazing that Canon is still a leader in anything.

      Pros

      Working for Canon was one of the best jobs I ever had. Treated their employees with respect. Generous bonuses, benefits and off site activities.

      Cons

      Unlike other companies that I have worked for, Canon did not have much in the "Cons" area. I put in many overtime hours because of deadlines and schedules, but that is typical in any development based companies.
