Pros

A lot of smart people, potential for interesting work and technology for the right person in the right place. As long as you're enthused and energized it can be very rewarding. The company suits top notch hackers with diverse skills and unbounded enthusiasm.

Cons

Packaging OSes has a lot of drudge work around it. A lot of positions in Canonical are quite tedious. The more interesting work is around the company's effort to redefine itself as a products company. However, those efforts seem very scatter-gun.

Pros

Most positions are 100% telecommute. A good level of autonomy. Smart, hard working coworkers. A general environment of self and corporate improvement.

Cons

If you aren't self-motivated you may struggle if you are not in an office environment.

Pros

Nice teammates, nice manager, nice working environment and relationship within the team. It's really a great place to work here.

Cons

Seems the high level management didn't have a clear roadmap. Or we could better use the what we have to make something big.
