Pros

full time benefits are great, inexpensive health insurance with amazing coverage. discounts on services. being able to use the gym & spa facilities. the food.

Cons

the pay is laughable. you have to bend over backwards for a lot of these snobby guests and there is not a lot of compensation for it. the managers are set in their ways and lazy. micromanaging at it's finest. the ceo's are cheap & everything is out dated.

Pros

Mangers for my department are absolutely supportive. They understand the demands placed on massage therapists and do their best to adjust schedules and otherwise accommodate all the staff involved. The grounds are beautiful, and most people that work there seem to be in love with their jobs and the environment.

Cons

The pay is LOW. You don't even get tips anymore because guests are discouraged of doing so The Ranch can keep their "all inclusive" status. Especially when you learn that they make thousands off of every single client that comes through the property, it doesn't seem fair at all! On top of that, some of the guests have crazy unrealistic expectations who are not shy at all when it comes to complaining to get discounts. Which in turn hurts your pay and makes you creep closer and closer to being terminated if your anything less than perfect.

Pros

The medical and dental benefits were good. Very nice, beautiful, peaceful place to work. Employees were treated good. Management was some of the best I have worked with.

Cons

The pay is average. Do not expect to get raises very often. Employee parking is a good distance from work site. Its kind of scary walking so far in the monsoon lighting when getting off shift doing the long walk to your car.
