Pros

CapTech is a solid company; coworkers are friendly and very competent. Work is interesting. Like everyone else, there were layoffs, and those that have work are happy to keep it. Management seems seems to be going above and beyond to get the company moving in a difficult economy. There hasn't been a significant push for return-to-office, but that's likely largely client-driven (and could change).

Cons

Things have shifted from looking for your ideal engagement to just getting on an engagement, with the commensurate shift in the company supporting a consultant's chosen path (within the company's offerings) to supporting only the company's chosen path (very few trainings and certs are funded). Similarly, even minimal/modest expenses for team-building and in-person events won't get reimbursed anymore.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts with us. Yes, like many companies this year, we faced headwinds, but our leadership team has navigated us through a challenging economy and made sure our company stayed strong while looking toward the future. We are fortunate to work with industry-leading clients who partner with us on challenging, tech-forward, and interesting projects. We want everyone to find a long-standing and fulfilling career with CapTech and “Growing Your Own Way” is part of our Employee Value Proposition. I encourage you to speak with your Coach about your engagements and your growth path to see how we can better support you. -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR

Thank you for taking a moment to leave your review. You are right, our leadership team is pretty incredible, and they care deeply about the growth of CapTech, which includes winning new work with exciting clients, as it means growth for the people of CapTech. Our new Employee Value Proposition, our existing Core Values, and the work of our Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Council, along with Employee Resource Groups, give us roadmaps to help our culture grow with the business. We’re excited for the year ahead! -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR

Pros

CT will pay for your learning and development. This is good because you have a lot of free time while client work is slow.

Cons

You can spend a lot of time on the bench and that is out of your control. Very rigid promotion structure based on time at company instead of merit. Low pay for technical positions and lots of downtime where you have nothing to do. People either love it here or want out as soon as possible.

Thank you for leaving your thoughts and feedback. The bench is designed as a layover of sorts between projects, not a place of total downtime. However, you are right, we do work hard to fill the bench time with learning and development opportunities so our consultants experience growth while not staffed on a client project. We also work hard to make sure our consultants are supported by competitive compensation and a suite of traditional benefits and new offerings such as mental health benefits, fertility assistance benefits, and a fun pick-your-own benefits platform. If you’d like to chat further about your bench experience, please feel free to reach out to me directly. -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR
