Pros

CapTech really strives to live by their motto of being the best consulting company to work for and work with. * Pay is very competitive. * Work from home and flexible scheduling. * Consultants are typically given a choice or at least the option to decline before being placed on a new client engagement (somewhat dependent on the strength of the market/pipeline, obviously). * Project work is very technology forward with interesting business challenges * Great mix of younger talent and experienced consultants. * Hour requirements are much less than at other consulting firms. Timesheets at 45 hours or less are pretty much the norm.

Cons

* The culture suffered a big hit with covid and the market downturn in 2023. People generally work remotely and entertainment budgets were cut. So, it has been hard to network and get to know coworkers. However, the budget for events and networking has been restored for 2024, so hopefully this will be somewhat alleviated. * Not a con yet... but there is a new focus on "growth" which feels a bit forced. Historically, CapTech focused on quality and delivery. I think this mindset allowed for growth (if desired) just because we are putting out a good product.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the many reasons why CapTech is the best consulting firm to work for and with! We work hard to ensure our people are supported in a multitude of ways (compensation, benefits, resources, etc.) as they bring their whole selves to work each day and produce incredible work for our clients. Like so many companies, we faced our own headwinds in 2023, but we’re excited for the year ahead as we develop each other and grow the company, together. -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR
