Pros

I have been with CapTech for 2 years now and have seen first-hand how CapTech has evolved making significant changes to support where we are as a company today (over 1000 team members). There are surveys that go out to the employees to understand what can be improved and based on the feedback CapTech has focused on finding challenging, innovative, and impactful project work. CapTech has invested heavily into L&D and rolled out many new leadership programs as well as learning tracks for team members. CapTech fosters an environment where you have the opportunity to drive your own interests in and outside your client work. If you are interested in learning a new technology or skill you can participate in the multiple trainings we hosted monthly. If you are interested in hosting a training, you are encouraged to do so and are able to drive this effort. Individuals have the opportunity to drive their own career and figure out ways to be impactful to CapTech as well as the clients we work with. Our core values are huge in every effort we focus on and you see this day to day through the interaction of our consultants and leaders. The CapTech Leadership team truly cares about each team member and through this unpredictable time have come together on a daily basis to watch what our clients are doing and how it could impact our overall business. I have been so amazed at the decisions the team has made as instead of laying off team members have provided a notice to those that could be impacted by future furloughs. There has been constant communication around COVID, impacts to the team. Truly have been impressed in the way CapTech has shifted and adapted during this time of crisis.

Cons

There have been growing pains based on how quickly we have grown over the past few years and some offices have a lack of middle level leadership to help provide the coaching and support to newer team members. Leadership has recognized this and is looking at how to address with learning and development opportunities.

Thank you for your review. I’m glad you really enjoy the challenging, innovative, and impactful project work and training opportunities. CapTech will always do what we can to retain our talent, especially in unpredictable times such as now with COVID-19. Thank you for the feedback on development areas of coaching and support for newer team members. We are working hard to ensure that we continue developing and improving on the things that make us CapTech. --Katy Apostolides, HR Director

Pros

I've been with CapTech since they were less than half the size they are now. During that time, I've seen and personally experienced over and over again how the entire company truly puts the people first. CapTechers are quick to reach out, not only to do what they can for their clients, but to also do what they can for their fellow CapTechers and their local communities. Leadership is honest, transparent, and listens to feedback. The culture still fosters a family feel even though we're no longer considered a small company. We are one of the few consulting firms that successfully manages "bench" time, when/if needed between projects. You have control of your own career, as you are measured against goals & competencies, not laddering. It's no wonder we are rated one of the top consulting firms to work for year after year.

Cons

We do have growing pains as a result of rapid change; but that's due to both success and leadership listening, taking note, and adapting when changes are needed.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are also very appreciative of CapTechers selecting us to be a top consulting company to work for year after year. It has been both exciting and challenging keeping pace with our rapid growth and success. Most important, however, is always keeping the people first throughout. Our leadership has always been dedicated to doing just that. Thank you for your contribution to CapTech! --Katy Apostolides, HR Director
