      Good company culture, pay and hungry to improve more!

      Pros

      Good pay, NOT a staff augmentation firm, even with "growing pains" they seek employee feedback to make improvements, decent benefits. I like that they assign you a "coach" (really your manager) and if you're looking for a promotion, the path is relatively clear for you. They offer many cross-training opportunities, or just educational support for you to hone your craft or learn about a new one.

      Cons

      The "growing pains" that I mentioned mean that there are a lot of things changing, so if that upsets you then it can be challenging - BUT, you have a coach who can help guide you as needed, do all you need to do is ask

      Good work-life balance

      Pros

      - Happy hours / social events - Flexibility to travel or not - Good work-life balance - Some teams can be really great, consisting of smart and fun people

      Cons

      - Lack of details when speaking with prospective hires so you are unaware of what you are getting into until you start working. Recommendation to prospectives: ask plenty of questions about specific projects and tech stacks to understand what your work will be like. - Workload is sometimes low and leaves one wishing for more challenging work - On some clients you work on teams and some you are siloed on a team of resident company employees (this is the nature of consulting), being siloed can be isolating - Lack of diversity
