Pros

- Genuinely inclusive culture, with ‘Be Yourself at Work’ at the heart of it - Flat hierarchy with very approachable leaders - Lots of opportunities for career development and progression - Increasingly diverse business, with significant growth in areas such as Data and Digital - Cool office in hipster central - between Old Street and Shoreditch High Street - Easy to get things done quickly without all the red tape and rigmarole you find in bigger organisations

Cons

- Not a con as such, but as the firm grows, it’s important that its culture doesn’t get diluted

Capco Response

Most people join Capco because we are different (the opportunities for progression, our inclusive culture and the diversity of our people). We hire people from many different backgrounds and industries, and much of the feedback on this forum is a testament to how refreshing people find working at Capco compared to other larger consulting firms. We pride ourselves on enabling rapid progression, based on our employees’ high performance, to more senior levels. All our people receive performance reviews every 6 months, and those discussions include a focus on employee development and promotion readiness. Roundtables ensure that everyone receives a fair assessment from a range of stakeholders without any unfair bias. In contrast to other firms, we also ensure that performance reviews focus on a holistic view of duties in role, as well as contribution to our diversity agenda, CSR activities or skills development. Our broader commitment to diversity and inclusion, ‘BeYourselfAtWork,’ is deeply rooted in all aspects of our culture, and we empower our people to lead the agenda. We believe this contributes to a unique, inclusive, open and tolerant work environment for our people.
