Pros

None, this is a firm that is nothing more than a staff augmentation service. Stay away run don't walk!

Cons

The so called Managing Principal called half hour early and said he was a few minutes late , He began to describe himself as a Program manager who spends a lot of time in the weeds, while that may work ,at times ,for small programs it had no place in our conversation. Next he asked a question that I thought was a joke; what is the relationship between a monthly , quarterly and annual report, if this guy is a program manager , I am Batman.

Pros

Good pay and bonuses if you can stomach to stay. The Americans on staff are generally treated well, but you can sense an overall apathy toward them by the majority of the non-North Americans (except for NY support staff who are treated very well.) The new grad program is great because it always provides a steady supply of fresh bodies coming in. I marked the 6-month outlook as positive because they'll do whatever they need to in order to meet their goals.

Cons

Benefits are below average. Don't believe anything the recruiter says that's not in writing. If you don't know the meaning of, "thrown under the bus", you will. I've never seen a culture with such an overall lack of integrity and honor in the upper ranks. A very small number of clients means you won't get much of a change of scenery nor a variety of opportunities. Very cliquish as many have said and if you don't suck up you'll get overlooked. Trust no one.

Pros

- Opprotunities to stay local if you live in NYC or DC - The work is tremendously easy and straightforawrd - Most projects are 9-5

Cons

- The majoirty of work, espeically changesourcing, is pure staff augmentation and not consulting work. This would be fine if you are interested in back office operations work, but the firm will lie in interviews about how theres great digital and startegy work - don't trust it. - Bonuses and compensation are horrendous. - Partners tell employees to write positive reviews on Glassdoor. Speaking of which, if you look at the review trends, there is a sudden spike from around 2 stars to 3 in 2014. This is highly suspicious. - Although most projects are easy 9-5 PMO secretary work, I've seen people with incompetent managers and therefore are stuck working 13+hours a day fixing others mistakes. - With changesorucing, Capco onboarded all the underpreformers from major banks as Capco employees. In return, Capco gains a long term contract with the bank and re-sells these employees to work on the same projects. The issue here is that now these incompetent underpreformers will be your colleagues and dillute what remains of the Capco brand.
