Many different ways to learn the various aspects of consulting. i.e. Business development, sales, practice development, and community leadership. Great company to work for. Great comradery with team members, company culture is very driven towards performance. Has a lot of very high-performing individuals.
Cons
If you are trying to be promoted to anything above a Senior Consultant, it will take 2-3 years to be promoted. Need to prove sales will be met for the current year and next year. This is Highly dependent on the manager of your project and how they allocate sales. If the manager of your project is not a good manager, it can be hard to get a better rating than 3. Depending on the client, work-life balance can be challenging. Some clients require you to be onsite, others remote, others require travel. This changes with each client, the consultant does not always get a choice.
