Pros

- You get to work on different kinds of projects and with different companies within Financial Services - Gain experience that would normally not have had in BAU - They focus on training and help you towards some certification. BUT training and certification focus is mainly on design area and data analysis. What about Finance and Accounting? As a company within financial services, there's (while I was there) no facility to encourage training like ACCA or CFA. - Salary is fair and about industry standard

Cons

- Working on different projects, with different skills requirement may work against those that plan to be SME in a field - You don't get to choose who or on what project you work with...unless there are many projects and clients available to choose from. (This is expected to be fair - they ned to make money ) - Capco even though promised not to change drastically - they have changed significantly since bought by Wipro and not in a good way. -Promotion is only for those that are seen not by performance.

Thank you for your review and we are pleased to read that you enjoyed many aspects of working at Capco. Contrary to your comments, Capco operates two promotion cycles per year and promotions are based on a clear, published criteria and take into account sustained performance at the next level as well as feedback from a variety of stakeholders. Promotion cases are assessed by a promotion panel to ensure a fair and balanced process. Capco continues to operate as an independent company under Wipro with its own leadership team, something which was reinforced at the recent regional Town Halls. Capco continues to retain the same culture and values as before, and the leadership team remains committed to fostering Capco's open, inclusive, and be yourself at work culture.
