Work for the people, not the company

Pros

Line yourself up with good people. Learn from them. Empower each other. Company won't have your back, but the people will.

Cons

If you're not lined up with good people, leave. Lots of false hopes provided to juniors. In the end, know that this is your career, and you should be able to have full control over it.

Do you know the U.S. executives?

Pros

the employees outside of C-Level leadership are actually cool. You can make lots of friendships that will continue when you no longer work there. The global CEO is also great. Don't trust the U.S. CEO or COO to have your back.

Cons

If you are not best friends with the U.S. COO then your days are numbered. In order to keep your job, regardless of the phenomenal work that you are doing, you need to be family friends with an executive or a favorite of the top three guys. Would not wish an experience of working here on anybody...You will be beyond stressed out and feeling like each day could be your last.

The energy is contagious!

Pros

The old saying, you get out of it what you put into it is absolutely true. After being "sold" to Capco last year I had to start over with a new company. I've had more praise, recognition, awards and opportunities in the past year than I had in the last 5 years at my previous company. The ability to get involved in areas that interest you is a great motivator and gives me the boost in my career that I didn't even realize was lacking. I've seen first hand, the integrity of the Partners who have backed up employees against unrealistic expectations from a client. Medical insurance policies offered come with a zero deductible.

Cons

If you struggle with networking, you will have a challenge. There is a great deal of growth right now and at times it will seem disorganized. If you have little patience or require more rigor and structure, it might not be the right place for you. You will need to be more agile.
