Good Place to Work

Pros

Flexibility Health Benefits Convenient office location The flexibility of this job is a pro. You can pretty much work whenever you want as long as you are preforming well in your role.

Cons

Low pay No Bonus Minimal growth Poor communication all around Remote vs in office collaboration issues Office is growing but low paying salary compared to competitors. Tenured employees are being passed on to hire from outside. If you preform at a high level management will give you additional work. However, they won’t pay you more so you are doing double the work for the same price as those struggling. In house and client communication is a headache. Various different answers depending upon who you ask for clarity.

Pros

you will get Salary on time!

Cons

Regardless how good you are and skilled you are, if you are not doing anything for practice, you will be declared good for nothing. All Sr. Directors and above in Capgemini are worst than any other individual you will meet.

Pros

Provides a stable paycheck while you are on the bench, which can be used for self-study.

Cons

Technical Stagnation: The firm operates like it's 2005. I have worked on projects with zero version control and ancient stacks. If you care about staying relevant in Java, .NET 9, or Cloud architecture, you will find no support here. Severe Underpayment: I started in 2022 at $76k, which was already below market. In 2026, they are hiring NYC juniors at $65k. With 2026 inflation, this is effectively a 30% decrease in purchasing power. You are literally paying to work here. Broken Processes: Internal placements are disorganized. You can sit on the bench for months with no direction while your skills rot. Advice to Candidates: Do not move to a high-cost-of-living area for this company. The salary will not cover your basic expenses, and the lack of modern tooling will make you less employable for your next role.
