Cons
Your annual reviews not depends on your achievements or performance, totally depends on your managers. I hate this culture[especially in india]. last couple of years, I have seen atleast 2 to 3 cases, where employee performed extraordinary throughout the years, but because of conflicts with their managers, they got 4 rating and sent out of company. They were surely worth of getting 1 or 2 ratings. life will be cool for the guys who will do shoe polish job to their managers. You can not escalate on the annual reviews or Managers. If you do, that's it your job gone. Surely Manager will be waiting for his chance to screw you. Last but not least, no good hikes since last two years.
