The benefits come at a great price. People feel pigeon holed and afraid. They are beholden to the illusion of stability and comfort from this company whose track record as an investor and an employer is impeccable. There are no career paths. And good luck at forging your own. The long term price -- as told by the many walking wounded who have walked away -- rebuilding confidence and mental health after years of being told how incredible you are, how brilliant your work is, and yet year after year being denied opportunities to grow and contribute in different ways. This conundrum is compounded by the fact that Capital Group tends to hire overqualified professionals. You will meet admins with Masters Degrees and Associates with PhDs.
