Pros

People work together well. Good structure at the team level means everyone succeeds. We're all dedicated to make the product and company a better place. The benefits are awesome and the bonuses great as well. The attention management gives to making sure everyone is treated fairly is refreshing and they make sure that the development of their resources are focused to the track that the associate believes in in his or her best interests.

Cons

Audit control is terrible. Too much control given to internal Audit and it stifles innovation. They put process around groups that serve to devastate real productivity of those groups and don't show any appreciable benefit. They've never demonstrated that they're process has benefited CG in one way. Not one.

Pros

Good benefits package and when ever time off was needed was allowed with out much hassel.

Cons

Not much opportunity for growth. Was made promises about potential growth opportunities only to be told I hadn't worked with the company long enough.

Pros

Capital respects its employees and provides a positive corporate environment. Coworkers are respectful and there is an open door policy throughout the company. Although the company has grown in recent years, there is still a bit of that small family culture. Capital also emphasizes work life balance, and this is one of its selling points to new associates. People are expected to work hard, but management provides support for a balance between family, work, and extracurricular activities. People are generally quite happy because they have time for life aside from work. Benefits are another one of Capital's strong point. They are extremely competitive, with at least 18 days of vacation to start, good health and medical benefits. Capital also has a bonus structure that encourages individual and company performance. Bonuses are generous.

Cons

Capital has grown a bit fast, and so there is shift in the culture that permeated the company when it was a smaller shop. There is a fair bit of bureaucracy, and communication is becoming more "corporate". There is also no standard career track like in a big 4 firm. Capital is also having to deal with a shifting financial market place, which will impact current associates (a first for the company).
