Pros
Pay is decent, great healthcare benefits, can't beat pricing for prescriptions filled by hospital pharmacy. The cafeteria does respond to suggestions for improved variety of food offerings & tries to please all tastes.
Cons
Unfortunately many staff have left my department. I reviewed CHS nearly 1 year ago; very little has changed --in fact has become worse. Sadly a new divisional director has increased the workload significantly, all the while spreading staff so thin that there are never enough crew on board to do our job properly with care. Any encouragement is solely about producing higher volume of work; not about providing quality care. Morale is very low and I am currently seeking employment elsewhere because I feel the system is broken & cannot be fixed.
