      Nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there.

      Pros

      Good place to get experience in a variety of areas.

      Cons

      Politics and raging egos run rampant. Unless you are a "golden child" chances of advancement, fairness from managers and positive performance reviews are not likely. Once you are "laid off" or your job is eliminated, you won't be able to crack the door to be considered for open positions or contract positions. Those with over-blown egos will see to that.

      Pros

      Decent pay, and you can learn a lot if you are in the right areas. There are some very smart people here, so it's important to leverage their knowledge and expertise.

      Cons

      A lot of hours, and job security is basically zero. But you find that almost anywhere nowdays. Unfortunately Cap One has a habit of making aquisitions and then shutting that business unit down after a couple of years.
