Pros

Experience varies greatly between teams, but overall people are good to work with and smart. Sometimes questionable upper management and business owners, but tech side filled with great people. Generally good work life balance but can be busy and you may work overtime. Not a lot of upward mobility depending on what projects you work on.

Cons

Can move slow as there's lots of regulation and internal processes. Work can be uninteresting if you're not into banking apps.

Pros

-Solid pay for non-tech company -Relaxed, based on team -Good 401k match

Cons

-stack-ranking Bi-annually with 8-15% marked as below-strong, which is now an automatic PIP regardless of tenure -leadership does not listen to concerns and will continue to spew nonsense on priorities and goals they've created to push their own influence -large influx of leadership that are ex-Amazon, bringing over the same toxic culture -Code often rewritten only to provide substance for performance reviews
