Pros

Great company culture: Fun and energetic people, casual atmosphere and dress code, monthly ice cream socials, summer outings, holiday parties, ping pong and trivia tournaments, team lunches, free soda & snacks, and more! Rewarding work: Being in the educational industry, the work is very rewarding and you know you're making a real difference. Furthermore, everyone is very passionate about and dedicated to the work they do. Team-based environment: There's a real focus on teamwork and banding together to get projects done and goals accomplished.

Cons

The rapid growth we've experienced--while positive from a business standpoint--has resulted in the loss of that small company feel we used to have when I knew everyone's name, and it also has the unfortunate side effect of sudden and unexpected changes. Salary is not competitive in my opinion. Also, the review and bonus system is a bit convoluted. Due to the nature and structure of some of the departments, internal career growth isn't always possible, which can be discouraging.

Pros

Everyone is passionate, enthusiastic, and pleased to work for the company. Frequent company outings and events. The HR team rocks. They hire the right people to get the job done. Young company that is always changing.

Cons

The salary is very entry level which makes it hard to motivate people that are looking for a career and not just a job. Teams can be small, you lose one member the others suffer. Tech team does not communicate with other teams and sometimes shows lack of respect.

Pros

Cappex is the type of tech company everyone wants to work for and thinks they work for, but it does without the irritants most currently have. It's a small environment just under 100 people, and is growing. However, that growth is well thought out and isn't jumping the gun on gaining more employees or churning and burning current employees. The people who work here are insanely fun and creative, but are also very hard working. I cover my own set territory and can develop my own book of business .There are, of course, monthly and yearly goals to hit, but they are given to me in advance so I don't have to worry about unrealistic expectations and changing goals or commission plans. Also, the hours are pretty normal, and you can make your day as easy or difficult as you like. If you use your day effectively, you can leave at a normal hour. What I find to be the best thing about Cappex is that it's an inviting environment and everyone literally has the opportunity to impact the company and make changes for the better.

Cons

If you aren't passionate about the position or have the ability to be versatile in your role, it's probably not for you. Other than that, there aren't any cons!
