Pros

Automany of duties to a certain extent. Experience with some clients made the effort worthwhile. HR team was great at resolving issues. Documentation was good enough to run the site.

Cons

Stress. This is not a 40 hour / week job. Depends on the size, but minimum 60 hours a week. The company was actively removing supervisor positions which creates issues in assisting other sites. Pay is another big issue; they are not willing to reduce their contribution margin in regions that have low unemployment or competitive environments. This does not allow a manager to hire good, stable talent, which creates huge issues in operations and safety training.

Pros

Money is good, some of the co-workers are great. Job itself is relatively easy.

Cons

Upper management is a complete joke. HR should be called on some of the issues that go on there, but frankly I'm just glad to be gone. Directors and employees have been kept there just because certain members of upper management don't want them going to HR. Issues with employees not getting all of there pay. Some of the directors are good, others are just arrogant people who should probably watch their backs.

Awful place to work

Pros

There were absolutely no "pros" to working for this company.

Cons

As the site manager, I had to fulfill HR duties including orientation and training. It doesn't sound that bad, but when you're trying to run the business, and you're tied up in a dingy, ill-equipped room and your boss keeps calling you in the middle of the training for petty reasons... it's a real drag. Additionally, when an employee was involved in an injury or accident, I had to take them into a restroom and administer a drug-test.
