While many CEOs live lavishly, CaptiveAire's owner, Bob Luddy, still packs his own lunch to bring to work everyday, lives simply, and keeps costs under control; reinvesting the profits back into CaptiveAire as well as his philanthropic endeavor, Thales Academy. It is refreshing to work for CaptiveAire, a company with traditional American values; Work hard, treat others with camaraderie and respect, be true to yourself and others, be more concerned about what’s right, rather than who is right, and do all with enthusiasm. CaptiveAire’s spirit of continuous improvement and innovation are key to its steady growth, but none of this would be possible without strong leadership including a moral foundation grounded in truth and character.
