Avoid Working at the IA Facility!! Poor Management
Pros
The pay was very competitive for the area that this facility is located in. The bonus structure is a little confusing to understand but is still very good. The company provided meals were a nice perk. The free merch/clothes were nice as well.
Cons
1.The production personnel are allowed to break company policy without any sort of consequences, due to the extremly poor lack of management and toxic culture that is allowed to happen. 2. The Engineers were just glorified production workers because the Plant Manager had no idea how to delegate projects or allow the engineering staff to make decisions/improvements without being in control of everything. 3. This is a horrible place to work unless you are friends with someone who works there. It’s very cliquey and there’s a reason they can’t keep new engineers around longer than 6 months. 3. The expectation was to work more than your required 43 hours and you would be judged/ made fun of if you tried to have a good work life balance. 4. The company provided meals were supposed to happen once a week but the plant manger and “HR” lady are too cheap and lazy to actually do anything so the meals were more like once a month. 5. The production floor was dirty and very disorganized but that’s probably because they don’t make the production staff clean up at the end of their shift, because there is an extreme lack of management and accountability. 6. All of the office people who work here have worked here for decades which is great except that they feel entitled to have the biggest desk space possible, meanwhile new engineers are shoved in a corner at a table and told to make it work.
