Cons
Cargurus is a good “stepping stone” company. Come in for a few years, hopefully for a bump up in pay or title, and then move on, because that’s all you’ll get. There is little room for advancement and as other reviewers have said - nepotism runs rampant. The code is plagued by technical debt and a monolithic structure. Most of the people who know how it works or if it works have moved on, so you’re on your own when refactoring or deleting “dead” code that should have been gone a long time ago. The company also focuses on making diversity a priority, but the toxic management structure will sweep issues under the rug 360 feedback will be traced back to you and used against you. Stability issues and tight deadlines lead to high pressure
