Pros

CarGurus is awesome when it comes to benefits and perks—they genuinely care about their people, and make sure their employees' professional and personal lives are well-supported. Personal favorites include commuter benefits that cover our parking, train fare, and other travel-related expenses, and our unlimited personal time which I recently used for an apartment move. It's the kind of place that takes care of you so much so that creating space and time for work feels unmatched.

Cons

No cons but rather an update worth mentioning — our upcoming HQ move to Boylston street in the fall. The views are incredible and I'm looking forward to seeing how this elevates what is already a collaborative work environment.

Pros

Super flexible hybrid culture. Have to come into the office but can do it on your own schedule, which is nice. Management does care about the people/their teams. Coworkers are great!

Cons

No leadership of color beyond Senior Manager level (with some exceptions). Career pathing is not clear and getting a promotion is super difficult unless you're a management favorite. But I suppose that's nothing new. But don't expect to be promoted simply because you do the work and do it well.
