Pros

When interviewing at CarGurus, they really undersold how amazing of a company it is. I was treating my job offer as a back up due to this, as I awaited an offer from HubSpot and Datadog. It wasn’t until speaking with a rep on the team I would be joining, that I decided to take the job. So happy with that decision, such a great community at CGs. So fortunate for this to be my first job out of college, so many friends of mine just try to suffer thru the first year of first job to jump to the next. That is not the case for me, I really can’t see myself wanting to work for any other company. I have had the best manager who does a great job to lead/coach team and encourage promotions.

Couldn’t think of one, perhaps hire more recent college grads?

Pros

Amazing perks and benefits, inclusive culture, great employee engagement initiatives, leadership cares about results, but not at the expense of their people.

Cons

401K contribution - they match 50 cents per each dollar of your annual contributions up to 8% of your eligible compensation, which is not bad, but I would rather they matched dollar per dollar up to 4% instead. Amount would be the same, but you only had to contribute up to 4% of your comp since not everyone is able to contribute 8% of their comp to get the full employer contribution.
