Pros

Coworkers are very nice, down to earth people. For a commission-based dealership, toe-stepping is minimal. Decent pay for a Job that does not require college degree.

Cons

Micro-management. Hard to advance in your career, since management is mostly hired from outside. Pay have not increased in years.

Pros

The culture is great. The growth potential is there. CarMax relocates people in the right places, you can go anywhere you want.

Cons

The salary of a business office associate is awful. There is so much to learn (3 months of training) and you don't get paid for the knowledge you acquire.
