Pros

I would say i do like most of the people I work with , a couple of execeptions but thats life i guess. managers can be easy to talk to but overall don't really seem to care to much

Cons

I was hired on the sales floor about 3 years ago with promises of advancement and of how much money you can make. Yes you can make alot of money if you want to work 60 hours a week and get lucky . Almost 70 % of customers that walk through the door only want to sell there cars with no interest in buying and you only average buying about 25 % of those because of the appraisals are so low.

Pros

CarMax is currently going back into their growth pattern so lots of opportunities will become available in the coming years

Cons

Rapid changes in the processes leaves everybodys head spinning. New programs were rolled out even before they were finalized. Focus is competency based behaviors and if you are struggeling....bye bye.

Everything else, micromanaging, pay, management. I’m still traumatized.
