The new COO is the most arrogant, out of touch person I have ever met. Thinks he is above every one. Managers constantly reach out to you on your day off, even though they promise the job is only 40 hours and you can have a work life balance. They pride themselves on not being a typical dealership, but their actions prove otherwise. Pushing warranties, trying to force people to buy. The sales managers care about nothing other than numbers. Sales consultants are required to fix every other departments' mistakes. Yet if they make one, it is the end of the world. Selfish company that does not give raises, nor compete with other pay plans out there. The only thing they want to tell you about is the Christmas party. They beg for 5 star reviews. If a negative one is posted, the executives follow by posting fake 5 stars. Don't believe me? Just check after every negative review. Trending in the wrong direction.

-Thanks for sharing…there’s a lot to unpack here! I believe there are good answers to a lot of the questions you raise. First, CarSense promotes like crazy from within. We know that the best people can learn to be the most skilled, while the other way around is not necessarily true. Managers try their best to look out for their teams, so if there is an opportunity for a sales consultant, our managers will reach out to see if they are interested in a leadership role. (instead of missing the chance). In addition, it’s important to mention that the “numbers” have almost zero impact on what managers make, as they are paid a salary not commission! CarSense will always ask our employees to share how special it is to be a part of this team…and that kind of genuine enthusiasm and satisfaction is impossible to fake. I’m hearing in your words that you are disappointed, and may feel passed over. If you’re up for it, let’s get a coffee and figure out how to get better for the next opportunity. That goes for us too! Thanks for the post.

I have worked for the Company for over 9 years and Actually worked at 4 different locations. Each different store operates with same level of respect for their employees. I would highly recommend Carsense to anyone.

With a good attitude and great work ethic, the sky is the limit. I have been with the company for 4 years. I began my career at CarSense as a Delivery Coordinator which is an entry level position. After a few months I received an opportunity to become a Sales Consultant. Every day in Sales is something new and exciting. You are given the tools and encouragement to grow in and out of the dealership. The job itself is great but, the people and culture are what really keep me going. After two years in Sales, I got a management opportunity in the Finance Department. It was an amazing experience getting to work with the lenders to provide customers with their automotive needs. Currently, I am in a Sales Management role. I love every day of it. Helping the Sales Consultants be the best person and best employee possible is what I strive for. Without the opportunities and platform that CarSense has provided me who knows where I’d be. Probably bored to death behind a desk somewhere.. If you are looking for a energetic, fun, and rewarding career, CarSense is your place.

Cons

The black pants are a bit toasty in the Summer time.
