Pros

Adequate pay, majority of production force are hard workers, very successful sales with a good customer base. Company is situated in a beautiful fruit orchard - filled valley.

Cons

Priority order = production, safety, quality. Employees are pushed hard without much appreciation. Department managers are uninvolved and ineffective causing serious resentment from the production crews. Complaints are treated as insubordination and ignored.

Pros

Profit sharing is nice I guess, but they lie about how much of it you see and it's only used as a hiring tool. Glass Coating is a cool process. The workers here are awesome.

Cons

They use profit sharing to pay you a lower base wage and market it incorrectly to new hires. Safety is really lacking everywhere in the plant. Management is a "Best Friends Club" so you only get to be a manager if you have no ability to be a manager, and one of your friends is already a manager. Communication from management to the people is really bad, and it's all rumors and gossip like a middle-school playground. No ability to advance unless someone retires or dies, but that's the same thing here. Most people have either been working here for 25+ years or 2-4 years. No project support for new engineers. Wage increases are laughably negative when accounting for inflation. No cost of living adjustments.

Pros

There are no pros to working here. They lie to you to get you to accept the offer. No work life balance. They have no staff because they fire people for being human.

Cons

40 hours PTO yearly. No sick days. Fired if you come in late for good reason. Staff working 5 to 7 days a week 12 hour shifts in mandatory overtime. Insurance is high and they pay little to nothing for treatments. If you have perfect attendance for a year you get a sticker. Not a climate controlled warehouse. If you get heat illness you get fired for not working.
