Pros

-Good people overall -Excellent Health Insurance -Flexible PTO -Meaningful conversations with customers who make an impact on patients lives -Insight into a very complex and ever changing industry

Cons

-Retail Pharmacy Industry is a sinking ship - 10% of RI’s went out of business in 2024, and 30% of Independent Pharmacists are considering closing their business in 2025 (NCPA) -Non transparent/intricate payment model for how pharmacies get paid -Zero formal training / siloed teams / broken tools / Stone Age internal CRM. You must rely on tribal knowledge or networking or you won’t make it. -Team culture was not a healthy fit (team specific) -Lack of work life balance (generally) with leaderships expectations that sales can be everywhere all at once. Not realistic. -Variety of services / solutions that we are expected to sell that never take off and eventually get sunset -There is a push/attempt to modernize tools/processes/ordering platforms but there is a lot of disconnect ironing out these details
