Pros

Benefits are all-around very sufficient; PTO is at a very generous accrual rate. Plenty of stability with how busy they are and the amount of work volume vs. employees. Hourly pay with shift differential is pretty good as things stand right now; if you want guaranteed hours and overtime pay this place will provide that. Climate controlled facility that is generally well-kept. They offer free food or snacks from time to time, which is always appreciated.

Cons

This is a high volume distribution position at large company so the nature of the work is very physically repetitive, fast-paced and will be too redundant for some. Regardless of pre-shift stretching and warm-up repetitive overuse injuries will be a high probability over time. For FT positions overnight hours are on a task complete basis and 12 hour shifts were fairly common; there was a lot of employee turnover and short-staffing challenges in part because of this. I was PT and while I stayed late and helped out there is no way I would have lasted for very long on the FT plus mandatory OT schedule. Holidays are paid however for this industry and shift it was still required to work without getting the day off. HR is off-shored and not onsite; on-boarding was a very messy and cumbersome process; once you are finally up and running basic workday functions online work well enough however. With how the warehouse is set up and workflow methods there can be bottle-necking with too many workers directed to and congested in one area. For the long hours the set break periods could be more generous; it's the bare minimum for the time put in there.
