Great place for remote work

CareCentrix was moving towards remote work before COVID hit and fully embraced it once everyone was forced to go remote. There are some functions that have to be in the office, but many are permanently remote and I believe the company has adapted well and works efficiently that way. The culture in my department is genuinely people-first and it offers good work life balance. We work late when we need to, but when things are slower there is more flexibility that average, which is great. It's a very common sense approach. I also like that teams work together collaboratively without a lot of politics. That is probably the main reason I have worked here as long as I have.

Cons

With Walgreens as the new owner, we are now part of a large publically traded company, which does change some of our strategic initiatives. I can't say it's a bad thing so far, but it does make me wonder where we are going in the future.
