Pros

A very diverse company with many advancement opportunities. It's privately held can cash rich. Good culture if you work for the right business unit. Cargill has over 60 different business units.

Cons

Lack of accountability and a sense that business unit management was detached from reality. Too many silos and politics led to a toxic culture where you were reprimanded for challenging the Status Quo. Company as a whole too a knee jerk reaction to recent financial struggles in cutting in areas that added significant value.

Pros

Benefits are great. Very generous with community organizations. Will help employees when the need of extra days off and work life solutions.

Cons

Pay is medium. Some upper managment needs to go, they are running highly experienced employees out the door.
