Pros

Great Benefits. PTO is higher then average. Bonus at end of year. Work Life balance in IT is VERY good. Work from home available. Able to work with up and coming technologies. Training available for your job.

Cons

Job advancement. Career path is not laid out to you, or even really known by managers. Salary is below normal for the job market. Some IT managers seem to take care of their people while others do not. Favorites seem to get preferential treatment. Promotions to people of less than a year for ambiguous reasons.

Carhartt has provided me growth opportunities in knowledge gained and in title. Family friendly environment that values it's people. Great product to offer and consumers love the quality. Positive growth changes in last 2 years. Strong overall benefits package.
