De-Centralized Structure is an attraction The pay is competitive

Cons

There is no support from Senior Management Standards are difficult to achieve... when facts are brought forth for reassessment such as change in consumer trends, changed in demographics, socio-economic changes to market the company is silent and is unmoved to engage further Community input as well as previous owners' input is not taken into account

Decent benefits with 401k and life insurance

Cons

I was terminated after 9 years of very loyal service because I toyed with the idea of opening an embalming service as a side line. Did not affect Carriage in any way and I never even started it. Just registered the name so I could have it. They did not follow their own employee handbook in regard to such matters. It was really a way to lower payroll by replacing me with a newcomer at half salary or less. They don't care about people only $$$$
