I've been at Carriage for six months now and I am amazed at the real opportunities provided to employees to make a meaningful impact on the business. Feels good to be empowered. Nice not to have so many layers to deal with - not all the "red tape" that I am used to.

Cons

Nothing at this point - I'm experiencing everything that I was told in the interview process.

The interview process was thorough & methodical with the establishment of expectations & cultural inclusion highlighted in each discussion with the required stake holders.

Cons

The process was smooth without hiccup. Moving forward, it will be ideal to promote the established time allowance we extend to each role in its intake, review, interview, offer & subsequent start date to all incoming associates.

Pros - when you put in your notice to leave.

Cons

Absolute HORRIBLE management skills. If you’re going to tell an employee you’re giving them a raise immediately - don’t provide it 3 months after the fact with NO retro pay. A NO teamwork atmosphere - everybody is soley out for themselves. Never turn your back while working for this company. If you want ANY type of work/life balance - RUN! Even if you work your tail off - you’ll barely make any income to support yourself. There is no culture in this company. They only recognize the Managing Partners that BONUS, when in reality they’re not even the ones who sit with families to make arrangements.
