      Lots of freedom in a lackluster organization

      Pros

      lots of freedom ability to make your own schedule reasonably competitive pay structure company provides a vehicle, cell phone, laptop, and what not

      Cons

      Currently Carrier is doing very poorly and it's reflected by their people. The morale of the company is very, very low, opportunities within the company are limited at best, and the organization is being run by leaders who have little experience in exactly how our business works.

      Carrier Commerical Refigeration was ok before it became part of Carrier.

      Pros

      Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (formerly Tyler Refrigeration) was a great place to work before United Technologies purchased it and made it part of Carrier Corporation.

      Cons

      Carrier Corporate management is the biggest downside to working for Carrier Commercial Refrigeration. They exhibit poor management, poor communication, poor planning and poor execution. UTC might be a great place to work, but only if you are not part of the Carrier group.
