      Pros

      Diversity of employees great benefits and vacation time. Employees willing to pull together and help one another

      Cons

      Management could care less about employees. Bathroom conditions are horrible. No cafeteria poor equipment maintenance. No job training No coaching or career counseling. Upper management expects numbers but will not help supervisors address issues to improve production

      Pros

      In the poultry business industry wide kill plants are basically all the same . Each plant I have been to has the same people , characters, personalities and issues. Just different faces. I came here to work several years ago and have felt since day 1 that I am a part of something not just a clock in clock out worker . The thing about it is it is steady dependable income with benefits that a lot of places don’t provide to the workforce they struggle to keep.

      Cons

      The industry itself has become at best only probably about 60% automated. So there is a lot of physical hands on heavy labor but also a lot of light labor all of it being repetitive . Not always the most appealing work environment but a person can get used to about anything right?
