- Really strict policies, I felt really restricted in what I could do because I always had to make sure I was following the millions of policies implemented in the program.
- Of course, some kids were bad but workable. However, a few were WAY TOO BAD. No matter what I did, even after asking for help from coworkers and supervisor and parents, I felt like nothing I was doing worked. I think of myself as a VERY patient person, but seems like every single day, I was pushed to the max. Horrible times.
- In the beginning, I was really motivated and wanted to always do my best. It was to the point where I'd go home and do more work, for example making lesson plans, buying supplies out of my own pocket (this was out of my own will). I was constantly thinking about work even when I wasn't at work, I knew this wasn't very healthy as I'd be stressed out and anxious about going to work the next day.
- This job is about being there for the kids, but in the end everything is a business and it is all about making money.
- Staff started disappearing, being short staffed made things worse.
